Bessie is a 17 month old female golden retriever for adoption. Bessie is a timid golden retriever who was sold as a puppy. When the couple got a divorce, the breeder took her back and she was afraid of the world. She is now with us to find a wonderful home.

Right now, she doesn't want a lot of human attention, but does great with other dogs. Bessie is housebroken, and when she first arrived the foster parents kept her on a long leash inside and out even with a fenced yard due to her fear.

No children under 10 years old with her adoption only due to her fear of fast movements and the voices of louder children will scare this beauty.
