Willow turned 5 years old in January. She is a smaller female golden retriever, only weighing in the 50's at a good weight. Her original owner was going through a divorce and couldn't keep her when she was moving into an apartment. A trainer that knew Willow from her basic obedience class took her in to try and find her a forever home. The trainer had gotten her vet care taken care but needed help finding Willow exposure to find a good home.
This is when our rescue stepped in and took Willow to find her a new home. Willow was in a home with kids, and other dogs and was fine with all of them. Willow does have a lot of energy so having a family with lots of time and an active life style would be a great fit for Willow.
Willow is now is a foster-to-adopt home. If you would like to adopt a golden retriever too, the first step to adopt is to read
