While we would love to meet you, we have no shelter. Our dogs are all living in temporary foster homes near the Toledo Ohio area.

If you wish to adopt a golden retriever, do not write us or call. Read “How to Adopt” first, which will explain the adoption process.

If you have general questions, please contact us below.  If you don’t hear back from us within a week, please contact us again. Remember, we all work, have families and sweet goldens in our care. We have no paid staff.

If you are following up on an application submitted, when you follow up, please use the same email on your application and provide the date you submitted your application. 

Need to surrender a golden retriever? Please write us at grrradoption@yahoo.com and attach a photo of the dog and a DETAILED explanation and information about the dog and the vetting the dog has received. As an example, is the dog neutered? Up to date on shots? Has received heartworm preventative? There is no judgement and all we ask is that you supply us the truth about your surrender in as much detail as possible. This helps the dog be placed quickly into the right home.
