Bessie is a one year old female golden retriever for adoption. Bessie is a timid golden retriever who was sold as a puppy. When the couple got a divorce, the breeder took her back and she was afraid of the world. She is now with us to find a wonderful home.

Right now, she doesn’t want a lot of human attention, but does great with other dogs. Bessie is housebroken, and when she first arrived the foster parents kept her on a long leash inside and out even with a fenced yard due to her fear.

Bessie is currently in a foster-to-adopt home who plans on adopting. They are helping Besse become less fearful and shine.
