Buff is a 76 pound, 5 year old, Velcro puppy mill boy. He was rescued recently from a puppy mill who no longer needed him.

Buff is glued to his foster mom and follows her everywhere. He does get startled by something new like most dogs coming from a puppy mill, and will take off to hide momentarily when startled. 

Buff has been to a groomer and she said he made it through the brushing and bath, but then started to shut down with this first in his lifetime experience. The groomer said the water coming off him was black with dirt.

Buff does ok with more quiet dogs. When dogs in the foster home start to play he will go stand in between them to let them know he does not approve of such foolishness!

Buff is looking for a home with someone around more than they are gone and someone with the patience to give him new experiences gradually, so he can learn about living in the world outside the mill. A physical fence is required with all dogs rescued from a puppy mill.
