Chief is a 3 1/2 year old male golden retriever who was surrendered to our rescue. Chief is very sweet and he loves other dogs. This boy came to us on April 21st a complete mess. His skin…awful and he’ll need three medicated baths a week for the next three weeks.
His ears are terribly infected, and he is slightly anemic with an elevated protein count. His nails are horrible and were about an inch  long.
Chief saw an ophthalmologist soon after he arrived as we thought me night be going blind. He has lipid build up from inflammation caused by episcleritis. This can be caused by high cholesterol, triglycerides, or low thyroid. He will have surgery soon to correct this, which will cost our rescue $3,900 to $4,200.00. We are currently raising funds to pay for this surgery.

He also has an external bump on his leg that we will be investigating. Can you please help us help this dog. We need to raise this money immediately. We appreciate all your help and we’ll list your name here on this page as his sponsor.
