This is 4 year old Austin, fresh from the puppy mill. He is fine with other dogs but scared to death of everything else in the world. This is going to be a journey for Austin. He is in a foster home currently and is learning what it is like to be a loved golden retriever living in a home.

After a few weeks in his foster home, he will let foster mom pet him at times and take a treat from her hand. He has spent the first part of his rescue in the laundry room hiding where he felt safe. He has made big progresses and is now eating right away when fed.

Austin needs a home with another dog, physical fence, and someone willing to give him time to learn this world is a good place to be.
