Ava is an absolute sweetheart. She is approximately 4.5 years-old and fortunately was spayed prior to entering GRRR.
Sweet Ava is having some limping concerns with her left rear leg. We will be exploring this further with an orthopedic veterinary specialist.
Ava is also a little fluffy. She is determined to shed about 15 pounds for her to live her best life!

ORTHOPEDIC VETERINARY SPECIALIST UPDATE
After further investigation with our veterinary team, it was determined that Ava has a torn ACL in her right knee and a torn meniscus in her left knee. The torn meniscus is from a previous surgery.
Ava will need surgery to correct these issues. Her specialists are recommending performing both operations at the same time to give her the best chance of healing and improving.
The cost of the side-by-side surgeries together will be between $8,300 and $9,200.

Please, if you have the means, consider donating towards Ava’s surgery and recovery. This operation is the only option to get Ava back to the pain-free and comfortable life that she deserves! No amount is too small!
