This handsome 7 year old golden retriever, Cooper. His family started having problems with him being afraid of their 2 year old daughter now that she is up and able to run around the house. This isn’t uncommon for a dog to become more worried about toddlers as they move fast, fall down, come at the dog too fast so all things that make a dog fearful of a toddler. Cooper did not bite the little girl and had only shown his fear by growling and then trying to get away. This family was absolutely right to find another solution for Cooper before something horrible happened for the little girl and Cooper.

Cooper lived with another dog so he is good with other dogs, but we do not know about cats. Cooper gets excited, happy when his leash comes out and loves being with his people. Obviously we would prefer a home with older kids or adults only.
