Meet Gypsie 💛

Gypsie is a 9-year-old Golden Retriever and puppy mill survivor who has spent most of her life having litter after litter. She was recently found as a stray, sleeping in ditches, scared and alone.

When the local shelter scanned her for a microchip, her owner was contacted — and said they did not want her back. We also learned she had already been rehomed multiple times.

Despite everything she has been through, Gypsie is incredibly sweet. According to the people who found her, she does well with other dogs and even cats.

Like many puppy mill dogs, Gypsie is extremely fearful of men, and she is considered a serious flight risk. She will bolt through any open door or gate, so a secure physical fenced yard is required for her safety.

Gypsie has never received veterinary care or vaccinations. Now safe with GRRR and settling into her foster home, she will soon receive:
• Vaccinations
• Senior bloodwork
• Any additional medical testing needed
• Spay surgery

This girl deserves patience, safety, and finally a chance to know love and stability.
